Anti-Perspirant

Anti-perspirant are known for keeping us smelling like spring fresh and mountain breeze by reducing sweat and underarm odor. How is this achieved you ask by using aluminum based compounds that clogs our sweat ducks and this in return stop the flow of sweat. Now to my understanding our body is built to eliminate toxins and to do so we need to sweat. If we are blocking and trapping sweat from flowing this will result in the buildup of toxins in our body.

Some studies show that this is not the case because it is the liver and kidney responsibility to remove toxins from the body. In my opinion our bodies sweat for a reason and if we stop it from doing so we interfere with the natural flow and balance of things.

If this does not get your attention please take a look at the long list of chemicals in your anti-perspirant and deodorant.

To name a few:

Parabens are chemicals used as preservatives and they can also mimic hormone estrogen and can play a role in development in breast cancers.

Aluminum has been linked to causing Alzheimer's disease and breast cancer.

Propyleen Glycol serves as a principal component of fiberglass, antifreeze, and engine coolants. Ok that is all that I need to say.

Fragrance sweet poison, fragrances are synthetic compounds derived from petroleum that can cause cancer, nervous system disorder, allergic reaction and birth defects.

The next time you use your ant-perspirant be conscious that these chemical not only block toxin from eliminating itself from the body but they also get absorbed in our lymphatic and nervous system. If we do not allow our body to do its daily function it will cause build up and break down our immune system.
